Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Quality/Hygiene to lead and enhance the Quality and Hygiene systems at our Bowling Green manufacturing facility. This role is instrumental in driving the site's performance to "Best in Class" levels by implementing world-class processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Quality and Hygiene leadership and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:

     

    • Develop and implement short- and long-term plans for Quality and Hygiene systems.
    • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advocate for quality-focused and Zero Defect thinking.
    • Lead and mentor staff to ensure professional growth and contribution to site goals.
  • Audit and Compliance:

     

    • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits, including customer quality audits.
    • Create and execute action plans based on audit findings.
    • Implement and maintain ISO certification and integrated management systems.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation:

     

    • Design, develop, and enhance quality standards, methods, and practices.
    • Lead strategic initiatives to improve site capabilities within the Quality organization.
    • Manage change processes, including qualification for innovation and improvement projects.
  • Digital Tools and Systems:

     

    • Define and implement IT and digital tools to address quality-specific needs.
    • Support global Quality initiatives by leveraging digital resources and networks.
  • Internal Audits and Continuous Improvement:

     

    • Develop and lead internal audit programs.
    • Utilize tools like process mapping, root-cause analysis, and Lean methods to drive improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:

     

    • Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience and Skills:

     

    • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in Quality or Hygiene management.
    • Strong knowledge of Quality fundamentals, principles, and tools.
    • Proficiency in statistical methods, root-cause analysis, and Lean practices.
    • Experience in quality control, laboratory management, and equipment validation.
    • Familiarity with SAP, Quality BI tools, and digital Quality systems.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • Preferred: Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications).
